YAY! is run by two sisters, who are passionate about ethical business, passionate about veganism, and passionate about amazing food. The name YAY! was born when we tapped into how we wanted people to feel about our food, and how we wanted to feel while running the business.
Ethical business is important to us. We donate 10% of our profits to Edgar’s Mission Farm Sanctuary. We always choose the most environmentally friendly and sustainable packaging options for our food. We are currently testing a fully compostible material to package our pies, so we can get them on to shelves in stores. We support other small businesses, and always look for situations where there is a win:win for everyone involved, including animals and our planet.
We make a marinated vegan feta that is taking the vegan world by storm. We’ve been so busy trying to keep up with the demand for this one product, it’s been amazing! Word is also spreading fast about our vegan pies, triangles and our lasagne, so it’s been a super busy time since we first started the business in April 2017. What a year it’s been! We couldn’t have hoped for a more successful start to our business, and we look forward to getting more products on shelves, and more amazing vegan food in people’s bellies!
